This website is run by HM Land Registry. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

The tick box which asks if you want to subscribe to a new a new post that you have created doesn’t have a label. This fails WCAG 2.4.6 Headings and Labels (A)

The skip link for focused content doesn’t move the focus to the main content. This fails WCAG 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks (A)

The link to the search form on the home page on the forum asks you to “click here” but the “here” part of the text has no link associated to it. This fails WCAG 1.3.3 Sensory Characteristics (A)

There are contrast issues with the navigation menu at the top of the forum. This fails WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (minimum)(AA)


We plan to fix these errors by September 2024.


Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

There should not be any other content that would cause accessibility problems in this service.
