Documents you need to send
Write to us or complete form AP1 to change your name on the property register. Read the guidance to get help completing form AP1. There is also a "Youtube" video which may assist you.
Send your application with a certified copy of either:
- your driving licence
- your passport - the page showing the passport number and photo
You'll need to send a certified translation if the document is in a foreign language.
More evidence
We may ask for more evidence to process your application, for example, a birth certificate. We cannot remove any names from the register if they appear on the birth certificate.
