Update your contact address in the proprietorship register
Thank you for your enquiry.
It is important to keep your registered contact address up to date. This will help protect your property against fraud.
Documents you need to send to us
To update your contact address you will need to send us the following:
- an application form
- a colour photo less than 3 months old
- evidence of your identity
Please complete an application form
- less than 3 months old
- showing your full face
- in colour
- on photographic paper
- 1 item from list A or
- 2 items from list B
List A – please supply one of the following
- a photocopy of the personal details page of your passport showing your photo
- a photocopy of a current UK, EU or Isle of Man or Channel Islands Photocard full driving licence
List B – please supply two of the following
- a utility bill less than 3 months old
- a council tax bill for the current year
- a mortgage statement for the past year
The document must have arrived at the property address listed in Panel 2 by post. It must show the property address. (Electronic copies are not accepted.)

Fee
There is no fee for this application.
