Information about documents and evidence
All documents you send must be from the last 3 months
The passport style photo must be in colour and not a scanned image
We cannot accept provisional driving licences as evidence
If you send bills as evidence, they must relate to your own address
The registered owner should sign panel 4. If they cannot sign, you need to send proof that you are allowed to act for them.
If you do not have the documents
If you cannot send the documents we need, you’ll need to verify your identity. See Practice guide 67: evidence of identity for more information and the options available to you.
