Dear Adam, I am in the process of making an application to add my wife to my deeds, my question is, does a GP when being the verifier have to enclose copy of his passport too even though he has put his passport number, and his address  on the ID3 forms?

also it asks us what the value of the property is? yet we can not see where to add it to the forms?

Thank you so much as we are getting very stressed trying to do this so we can get equity release?

Kind regards Robert Warmley.

Robert - he does not. The form ID3 explains what's needed when verifying the identity and what information we then require. Page 1 states
You must also enclose with your application: • a copy of the personal details page of your passport • a copy of the personal details page of the passport of the person verifying your identity (Where the verifier verifies the identity of other people in addition to yourself, they must provide each person with a copy of their personal details page. A single copy for all persons is not acceptable.) Do not send us your original passport with your application.
PG 67 then supports that with wider guidance as appropriate - Evidence of identity (PG67) - GOV.UK

Hope that helps
