Hi, <br> <br> We are buying a house and part of the garden is not on the deed. The current owner has applied for adverse possession as they have lived there a long time. Land registry have written to the previous owner of the piece of land and given 65 days to object, consent, not reply. They will not reply as the letter has gone to the address we are trying to purchase!<br> <br> The deadline for the 65 days is the 5th November. Please can I ask how long it would typically then take for Land Registry to sign the piece of land over to the current owner when no objections have been made? <br> <br> Our mortgage offer runs out on the 31st December so we would ideally like to move before this date but wondering how likely it is that this will happen. <br> <br> Many thanks<br> <br> Kind regards<br> <br> Anna
