Good morning.
I can confirm that we received an application against title number WSX63659 on 1 August 2024 which includes the documents you refer to.
The application is now awaiting processing but its priority is protected.

Is it normal for it to take this long? It is now a year since I moved. Thank you

Emma - wait times can be lengthy but it's of an age now that I would expect processing to start very soon

Good evening, still not updated (WSX63659).
I'm concerned as my solicitor is no longer trading and the company that are dealing with the intervention will not release the file to me without Halifax authorisation, with whom I have a mortgage. Halifax will not authorise release of the file until their charge has been registered against the property. Please can you confirm you also have a charge for Halifax to register as well? And bearing in mind the length of time that has elapsed is there a problem?
Thank you

Good Morning Emma - we are aware of the intervention so no issue there.
The application includes a charge with Halifax
I'll see if the casework team can escalate matters and get it processed

Hi there, I've just found out that apparently there is an issue with the ST5 form, a signature being missing. I need to appoint a solicitor to sort it all out, but can you request an extension of the deadline as this is the first I've heard of this, a year later, due to my solicitor no longer trading.
Thank you

Hi Emma - I can see that we have written to Lester Aldridge LLP a couple of days ago. Are you saying they are not acting on the matter? If so, it may be better you use the Contact form on our website and notify us in writing.

Lester Aldridge are not my appointed solicitors. They are only acting on the intervention into Waughs solicitors (my previous solicitor who has folded) They contacted me to say they had my file, ready to release to a solicitor that I appoint. I didn't think I needed a solicitor as it was just a delay in the Land Registry being updated.
Now I know there is an issue with the Registration, so now I do need to appoint a solicitor, annoyingly.

Hi Emma - I understand. I will drop a note to the caseworker explaining the situation and suggest they wait to hear either from you or your new solicitor.

Can you confirm you have now received the answer to the query regarding the ST5 form and that registration can now be completed?
Thank you

Hi There,
I am applying to the SRA Compensation Fund to try and get back the money I paid to rectify my Land Registry entry after my previous solicitor, Waughs, had ceased trading.
The SRA have asked if the Land Registry raised any requisitions with Waughs Solictitors whilst they were still trading (they closed in June 2025)? If so can I have a copy of the requisition and whether it was responded to? Are you able to see my email address? Many thanks
