Hello

We have a new registration request (SF701540) submitted in Oct 2024 and was informed that the completion date was January 2026. can you please confirm this is still the correct date for completion because we have had a change in our circumstance's and we need to amend our future life plans.

The house in question is an old house and belonged to my wife's parents but was never registered with the land registry, hence the new request.

Thank you for your help in this matter and look forward to your response.

Kind regards
Mr P Ralph.

Hello Philip - the 'completion date' you refer to is an estimate and that changes on a regular basis and is based on average processing times for similar types of application. The current estimate is now May 2026
If there is now an urgency involved then the conveyancer/you can request expedition to shorten the remaining timescale - Request an expedite - GOV.UK

Good Afternoon Philip - the request was issued in July. They asked for more time IN October
You'll need to ask your solicitor to confirm what remains outstanding and when they hope to respond in full
