Thank you for your reply. Is there a way to expedite this process? I am waiting on the name change to move forward with another purchase/mortgae request and have been stalled for several months. Might I be able to pay for a faster service? Thank you.

Thanks Adam, I have a quick query about the process. I have contacted a broker and secured a mortgage offer, and am in position to pay for the Fact Find which will lead to the equity offer on my property. I need the name change completed before then so I haven't yet paid for the Fact Find to begin. If I expedite the process through the portal, and ask the mortgage broker to provide documentation, would that be enough evidence? The solicitor says they can do it for me later in the process if it hasn't happened by then, but that will probably cost me another 200+ GBP. I'd rather avoid more spending (this process already costs 200 for solicitors' stamps). In the Eligibility Criteria, it says: "We will not expedite an application: - already in progress" does this mean I would have to cancel, and restart the process, and gather new documentation, solicitors stamps evidence etc again? Is there any way to expedite the current application? Thanks, Eun Jung.

Hi Adam, following our previous chat, I’ve now received a formal requisition (Ref: SGL275113) regarding my deeds name change. My husbacd and I are currently in South Korea in employment, and have a mortgage offer with Suffolk BS that expires on 10 May. This may prove too ambitious now so I am asking them fo ran extension. I am planning to visit a Notary here in the next week or so to complete a fresh Form ID1, and will be couriering it to the Citizen Centre after that. Do I need to complete the new ID1, as the previous has somehow expired, or is this another step in the process? I had solicitors verify my identity in the original application. I will carry on with the new requirements and have them posted ASAP. Thanks for all your advice. Eun Jung.
