Hi Adam, we've had the below from Barclays:

"Hi ,

This to confirm the position of Barclays bank, in relation to the charge held over the land for the registered title number: EX135193; 53 SUTHERLAND BOULEVARD, LEIGH ON SEA SS9 3PT.

We confirm that the above title number has been held as a charge since the 12th August 2009 and that Barclays bank are now satisfied that there are no facilities or liabilities that are reliant on this charge remaining.

We have carried out the required process and submitted the EDS1 form to the land registry. This is now updated and showing as pending on the land registry.

It is the customer, or customers representative responsibility to check land registry for visual confirmation if required as releases are completed digitally now. This information is correct as of the 22nd November 2023."

As you can see they're insistent that they have filed the discharge application and it is showing as pending. Could you shed any light on why this wouldn't be showing on your end?

Thanks
Thomas

Thomas - they state pending as of 22nd Nov when they submitted it at 12.04pm
It's completed withing seconds if all ok so the 2009 legal charge was removed at 12.04pm as well.
So the registered title refers to the 21st Jan 2011 charge only now and since 12.04pm yesterday afternoon
