<p>I would like to apply to remove a charge from our property deeds and would be grateful if you could confirm that my understanding of the process is correct.</p> <p>My husband and I had a 3-year loan for our flat purchased in 2020. Although the loan was fully repaid in 2023, the charge is still showing on the deeds. Our lender has provided a completed DS1 form, but despite repeated requests they have not removed the charge electronically. We therefore wish to submit the application to the Land Registry ourselves.</p> <p>Could you please confirm which documents are required? I currently understand the following to be needed:</p> <ul> <li>DS1 completed by the lender (already obtained, completed without a solicitor). Are there any other forms the lender has to complete? </li> <li>ID1 forms – do both my husband and I need to complete these separately as we are joint owners?</li> <li>AP1 form</li> </ul> <p>Is this correct or is there anything further that we need to provide?</p> <p>Additionally, could you please advise on the cost of submitting this application and the available payment methods?</p> <p>Many thanks in advance.</p>
