Application holding up our sale

We have an application in at the moment, it’s the last thing we are needing to be able to exchange and complete before Christmas, we asked for it to be expedited but that was 3 weeks or so ago and we haven’t had any updates so just trying to find out what the timings are and if it is even still feasible to get in before the new year!

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Freddie - I have identified the application based on the address, which I have deleted for privacy reasons. 

The application has been expedited and is being worked on, but we had to raise a technical query with the solicitors who submitted it.  We have had response from the solicitors and wrote back to them on 19 November and are now waiting for their response. 

The application should be completed soon after the matter is resolved.

Thank you Nimish, do you know if this was our solicitors because if so I can chase up with them to come back on that response to speed things up? 

Freddie - The application was submitted by Davies and Partners Solicitors, so our queries are addressed to them.

our solicitors have chased the above solicitors but we are not getting anything back from them, is there anything else we can do to push that along as it is now the only thing stopping us from moving before Christmas? Has there been any reply to the query yet?

Hi Freddie - no further response I'm afraid and the ball remains very much in the conveyancer's court to resolve matters
Only thing you can do is to press the conveyancer to respond
