CYM889903

Hi,

It is my understanding that my solicitors have put in an adverse possession application for the above title, and requested it be expedited due to a close completion date.

Could you confirm if this is the case please, and if so, what the expected turnaround time would be please?

Thanks

Hi Meg - the application against that title was completed on 16th July and the solicitor informed of the update completed.
They haven't replied so I assume all was ok from their end
Suggest you double check with them to confirm in case there's another application/title involved?
CYM889903

Hi,
Thank you.
This was a separate application for adverse possession. They have informed me that they submitted the application but I suspect that this has not yet been done.
Thanks

Meg - there's nothing else pending and the response of 16th July seems to indicate that we made some alterations to the existing title and that's been explained.
I imagine the solicitor is now considering how to make a different type of application to register the remaining land but have yet to submit it. If they have then they'd have a different title number to quote
CYM889903

OK, I see. Does the adversely possessed piece of land get given a separate title number to the property?

Meg - it will be allocated a provisional title number of it's own. If it is granted 'Absolute' title then it can be added to the existing one(s) as appropriate but that all depends on the outcome and as yet there's no application to do anything
