Time for titles to update

Good morning,<br> <br> I wonder if someone could advise.<br> <br> We purchased to commercial units on the 19/11/2024 but are having problems with utilities companies as the title deeds have not, as yet, updated and they are demanding copies of deeds proving we are the new owners.&#160;<br> <br> we have sent completion statements and local business rates letters, but they still refuse to accept this evidence.<br> <br> If someone could let is have an idea of additional time frame when details might update, we could at least pass this on.<br> <br> Thank you.<br> <br> Best regards,<br> <br> Blair

Good Morning Blair - that's interesting as utility firms generally ask for either/or evidence as you suggest<br> What's the postal address/plot number for the property or the title number if you have it?

Good afternoon Adam,<br> <br> Thank you for your very swift response.<br> <br> The properties are:<br> Unit 4, Laundry Lane, Milford On Sea, Lymington (SO41 0WJ)<br> Unit 5, Laundry Lane, Milford On Sea, Lymington (SO41 0WJ)<br> <br> The completion was the 19-11-24 via Frettons Solicitors.<br> <br> I am sorry I do not have the HP numbers but can retrieve them if you require.<br> <br> As I have stated we have supplied various documents from the solicitors and the local authority but this in particular is the incumbent Electricity supplier, who we asked to quote but was far to expensive. So I think this is more to do with them charge us a very very high out of contract daily charge, as they know we are stuck until the new titles are updated.<br> <br> If you can give any guidance as to when that might be it would be greatly appreciated.<br> <br> Best regards,<br> <br> Blair
