Application for a change to an error of title

Good morning, we are currently nearly at the end of the process of selling our house but our buyers solicitor has noticed that our house (freehold) and garage (leasehold) are held under separate titles with the land registry. They want this changed before exchange. I believe my solicitor has put in a enquiry in this regard but it seems to be holding up our sale. Is there anything I can do to help this along? Or check that it has been checked in the first place?

Hi Kate - We do not think it is necessary, and possible as it stands, to bring the titles together.&#160; If that is required then it may involve some additional work on the part of your solicitors and us as well as the freeholder of the garage, but it would be best you speak to your solicitors about it.&#160;
