Lease extension holding up property sale

I am in the process of selling my flat and applied for a lease extension several months ago. I was told by my solicitor this was an expedited request yet still have not had a response, please can you tell me when the application will be completed as the delay is causing financial distress and delaying the sale of the property.

Matthew - the application was expedited and has been partially processed. However we need more from the conveyancer and contacted them on the 25th Jan with a request and we await their response. You'll need to contact the conveyancer to confirm and to check on details of the number of things requested

Thank you for your response. I will contact my solicitor and find out what's going on as I have been asking for updates throughout Feb and they tell me it's still sitting with Land Registry. Hopefully they have a more robust response for me following this.
