Urgent help requested with expedited application

Hello This request is about property registered under title number CH 44347 The solicitor has submitted an application to correct an issue with the registered proprietor’s name. I understand that the application was lodged on 28 July 2026 and that a request to expedite it has been approved. Unfortunately, the outstanding title issue is the only issue now preventing us from exchanging contracts. The transaction delay is putting the whole chain at serious risk of collapsing. Everyone involved is ready and keen to proceed, but we cannot move forward until the Land Registry application has been completed. I appreciate that an expedited application may still require checks, and I do not wish to bypass any necessary process. I would be extremely grateful if someone could look into the application and let me know whether anything further is required from the applicant’s solicitor, or whether there is any way it can now be progressed urgently. Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide.

Hello A John - We are still waiting for a full response to our queries of 12 August to the solicitor who submitted the application.

A John - Partial response was received on 12th August and we wrote back on the same day to reiterate the outstanding issue.
