Hi
When a UN1 form is processed, does the beneficiary get notified that the owner has received notification?
Also, is it possible to cancel or amend an outstanding UN1 form before is processed?
Thank you

Hi G J - no but it's a natural consequence of the UN1 being completed and the register updated
Yes re cancellation - use the contact form to request cancellation as appropriate. Cancellation would be needed from the person(s) who submitted the UN1

Thank you for the swift response.
One more question if I may. What is the turnaround time like for UN1s? (no expedition required as I hope to have a conversation with the owner before it's processed).
Thank you

G J - such applications can wait several months before being processed. On average around 4-5 months in some cases

Thank you for your previous replies. So if I wanted to amend the UN1 - would I have to cancel the original and then submit a fresh application? Also, is it possible to request a pause on processing (rather than outright cancellation) of the UN1? The reason I ask is that it is coming up for 4 months since I submitted it, but would like to seek some further advice before it is definitively registered.

G J - you can submit an amended form UN1 whilst the application is pending waiting to be processed. You can't pause the process

Thanks again. Can you confirm the fee for a UN1? Is it still £20?
Thank you.

OK, so £40 if paying by post?

Many thanks
I've submitted a new UN1 - which you have received. And I have sent a message earlier on the contact form requesting that the new UN1 (ref P377VVT) replace the original (ref T384RRT).
Will I get a confirmation that the original has been cancelled/replaced?

G J - cancellation of the first application will trigger confirmation to be issued, yes
