Urgently need an application cancelled due to house sale

My brother and I are currently in the process of selling my late parents home which has been incredibly stressful and emotional. At the 11th hour our buyers solicitor has found an application made to change the house into mine and my brothers names which was done back in May. This is showing as pending. Therefore the buyers solicitors will not exchange contracts until this has been cancelled and confirmation of the cancellation has been received. As you can imagine we are beside ourselves as we are so close to finally getting closure on this really upsetting chapter of our lives. We have been told to call Land Registry and cancel the application, which we have done, and they told us we needed to complete the contact form and ask for this to be cancelled. We have done this. We have stressed to customer service that this is urgent and they were really lovely actually and really understanding of our situation which we appreciated, but just said the form would go to the team who would process it How long is this likely to take? Hi Lucie - it has literally just been cancelled<br> Unfortunately there was an issue as we also received a second request to cancel from a firm of conveyancers.<br> However that's now resolved and the application is no more. Confirmation will be in the post but you can advise the seller's conveyancer that matters can now proceed and they can check again to confirm&#160;<br> SL106379
