We are assisting a client in relation to an outstanding loan that has been provided to a third party. Our client has asked for us to place a restriction on the borrower's title which best protects our client (the lender) to ensure upon disposal of the property, our client is paid in full. Our client has advised they do not wish to place a second charge on the title. Please kindly advise what restriction would be best suited for this matter.

Harnit - please see our PG 19 for registration guidance. We can't advise you on what's 'best' and I would recommend seeking legal advice as appropriate
