Urgent Expedited Application

Hi 

We are in the process of buying a house only about 16 months old ( Jennings Close PO214FE)
We understand from our estate agent that the sellers solicitor applied to expedite the application on or before the 30th April.
The last update on the 5th June was that he is still waiting 
Are you able to advice on the current status of the application please

Hi Dave - it reads as if it's a new build and therefore the first registration of the plot sale has yet to complete due to there being prior pending applications preventing it
What's the plot number or postal house number?

Dave - many thanks. So the application has been partially processed but we are waiting for more information from the lodging conveyancer. Hopefully they can confirm that for you and clarify when they hope to be able to respond

Just been informed by our estate agent that the solicitor sent the information requested about 2 days ago 
are you able to check ? if you have how long before the application will be complete

Hi Dave - they did respond but we went back to them on the 6th to explain what was still required and also requesting further clarification re the reply provided to date. I assume the conveyancer hasn't updated the estate agent as yet

I have been informed that our seller is not using the same solicitor to sell the house as he did to buy it.
I don't think we are getting a true response from the first solicitor.
Can you please check if he has provided the information you requested.
I need to sort this out ASAP as the rest of the chain is complete.

Have you had a reply from Gordons? I'm not able to contact them direct myself. 

If not how long will it take to complete the paperwork when you do have all the required information from Gordons.

Hi Dave - I have responded to your query in the absence of my colleague. 

We are still awaiting response from Gordons. 

Once all the issues are resolved I would expect us to complete the registration within a day or two at the most.

You can find their details on internet but ideally you should contact your solicitor or the estate agents.

There are a lot of Gordons solicitors on the internet and its a different solicitor from the one we are buying from so the estate agent has no details

Hi David - According to the latest correspondence on the application, Gordons have asked for an extension of time to respond to our queries. In accordance with our procedures, they have been given until 25 July to respond.
