Processing time for merging of titles

Good afternoon, we bought our property back at the end of May 2024 with both Freehold and Leasehold titles and were told these could be merged. I just wondered how long this process usually takes and if our rights are protected until the registration is complete? The titles are SYK109667 and SYK329659. 

Good Morning Lisa - the application was submitted in June and it's still waiting to be processed. Your purchase/ownership is protected but it may still be a few months at least before it's processed
