Hi Adam - I just thought I would drop a message to update you on our current status and the impact that this has had just in case it helps anyone. In the end this issue was circumventing by the seller of the property in the chain relisting . The property was removed from the chain which I resulted in purchases and sales collapsing and people loosing their sales and purchases . We were very lucky as the property that relisted was sold quickly and thanks to Preston baker of Leeds the sale went through and we got our house with literally 30 minutes to spare before the whole property chain collapsed. It was a same day exchange and completion with 6 properties involved. Highly stressful with no certainty but ultimately we completed and got our dream home. Adam throughout you were out only hope and the only person willing to engage in a logical manor. Estate agents and solicitors were seemingly withe runs ke to communicate the facts or were unwilling for fear of causing a reaction. HM land registry throughout were cited as the reason for the issue when in reality it was more likely incompetence or something or equally unacceptable reason. As a person purchasing a new home which is a life changing event I found the whole interaction and acrhaeic unbeleivable inefficient frustrating experience that I feel is totally avoidable. The systems used, the reliance on individuals and the legal red tape could easily be solved. I felt throughout that the harder I tried the more pushback I received for the most simple of issues. This needs to be fixed - it is very unfair and creates and industry withing itself, I really feel for you as I understand that you care about the process and it comes through in your diligent responses but quite frankly it is an impossible task for you to carry by yourself .
