Hi, our solicitors chased up on the above on Monday. Our application has been expedited due to it holding up a house sale. We have been told that it has been referred to a senior case worker on 9th May. Please can we have an update on this.

Thank you for your quick reply. Please can you confirm if this is the same person it has been with since 9th May or reassigned recently. When should we expect to have a response. Thank you

Vanessa - It has been reassigned. It was referred to a senior officer but they then referred it to a lawyer to consider.
I cannot tell you when to expect a response because it depends on the issues involved as well as other applications awaiting to be considered. The application has been approved for expedite so the referral would be treated as priority.

Please can I have an update on this.
Our buyers are holding off proceeding with anything until this is resolved and we are very nervous we are going to loose them. Please can you help us understand what the hold up is or an estimation on completion so we can offer them some reassurance.
This case has been with you since November and Expedited 6 weeks ago.

Vanessa - the expedited application is still waiting for one of our lawyers to confirm if it can proceed or not.
The case was expedited on 7th May and processing started on the 9th
I'll check with the casework team for an update for you with regards it's escalatin

Hi Vanessa - I did but nothing extra to what I already knew but the case has been escalated so we should know next steps in the next 24/48 hrs

Hi Vanessa - I'm afraid the application cannot proceed and the casework team have contacted the conveyancer to explain why. You'll need to contact them to confirm the specifics and the reason(s) for cancellation
