Update on Expedite Request - Taking Too Long?

Hi,
 
We extended the lease on our flat earlier this Summer and are now in the process of selling the apartment. We are selling and buying a new property and therefore a delay in registration of the updated title could cause the chain to fall through if not done in a timely manner.
 
We have asked our solicitors (they are the same people we have used for the lease extension) to expedite the application so not to hinder the process, however they are giving us very vague updates and are saying that they are waiting on the Land Registry to complete the process. We were assured that everything had been submitted back in August/September but after weeks of chasing we only received actual confirmation of the application being sent on Friday 13th October. Now to my understanding, if the application was done correctly and the supporting evidence was provided following the right process this should have been done within 2 weeks.
 
Can I please ask you to have a look if an application to expedite a title registration has been recorded against title number GM818843 and whether this is awaiting additional supporting information or whether there is something else currently hindering the process.

Hi Vanessa - it was lodged on 27th Sept and has been partially processed after being expedited. We contacted the conveyancer on the 4th Oct for more information; they replied, we requested more again on the 11th; and they have just replied again - that last reply is being considered by the casework team
I'll see if I can get a more concrete idea of what's happening next and whether we need to go bac to the conveyancer still or if things have been resolved
