Hi Adam , I just received a response to my application SYK579603, saying no amendment has been done. does that mean that my application was not approved? Please advise accordingly..

Hi Okwudili - the application has been completed and the register now refers to your Rights. For some reason we had two HR1 applications captured and I suspect the letter you received was re the second and duplicated one that was then cancelled.
You should also receive a letter confirming the registration and a copy of the updated register - suggest waiting a few days as the post can be delayed at this time of year

Thank you Adam, I will wait as suggested.

Dear Adam,

I have not received confirmation letter and the second HR!, was what I received in the post with a note asking me to complete number 6 and send back as explained previously so it was not duplicate.
Please check and advise accordingly.

Dear Okwudili - we appreciate that it was not a duplicate application as only one Notice could be registered. You quoted two different postal address on the form HR1 - have you checked both to see if mail has been received
I have emailed you also so no need to respond

Hi Adam,  I have a query about  notification to the registered owner. Say for example there is a backlog of 4 months to fully process and be on the register itself. Does that mean it will be 4 months before an official letter goes out to the registered owner to tell them the HR1 has been added? Or do they get notification from the date you receive the application?
Are you still having high volumes of work and long delays?
Thank you

Hi Clare - they won't get the notification until the application is processed and completed/register updated.
Yes re lengthy wait times/delays for certain types of work.
I must stress that whilst appreciating the point made the point of registering the HR1 and protecting your rights is relevant to the property itself. Those rights exist whether an application is made and impact on any searches/checks and dealings with the property such as a sale/purchase/mortgage as a result. That's the point of the HR1 so any delay in processing has no impact but as mentioned I do appreciate that in some circumstances the owner being notified sooner might help in some way. But we wouldn't do that until the HR1 had been considered and the decision made that an entry could be made to protect your rights.

Thank you Adam. That has really helped.

Hi Adam, after an HR1 form arrives at the MH Land Registry, how long does it take you to mark it as received as I understand I am protected as soon as you do.
I've had my partner tell me yesterday they have applied for a divorce, and I need to move out now.
I just posted the form today via tracked sign for under application number SF513300. So hope you will receive it next Monday at the latest.

Thank you

Hi Clare - receipt to scanning to being captured as received will generally happen within 24/48 hrs
If you've posted the form using a tracker then you'll be notified by the delivery service once it has arrived at our end
Your rights as such remain in play until any divorce is formalised but if you are uncertain then please do seek legal advice

Hi Adam, it was confirmed my application was delivered yesterday morning, is it possible for you to drop me a message when it’s been processed either today or tomorrow? Application SF513300.
Thank you so much.

Hi Clare - it's very unlikely to be processed that quickly but the casework team will contact you once it has been. Your application and rights are now protected

Hi - we did receive an application in April to update the register but it was incomplete. We contacted the firm that submitted it in September and November but they did not provide the requested form and information. The application was cancelled in December
I would suggest contacting them to confirm and to ask them to remedy matters and resubmit a complete application
Or consider applying for yourself using form HR1 - Notice of home rights: registration (HR1) - GOV.UK
