Home rights notice status

Hi,

Can I check whether my home rights form has been received and is correct please? Title Number: GM162939.

and if so, from what date is is effective please?

Hi, my solicitor applied for a home rights notice in April this year - application reference H569CWT, title number 

CB60001. I've heard nothing, and building works have apparently started on the property - I'm concerned that my ex spouse has remortgaged the property while I await the notice. Thank you.

Hi Nicola - the HR1 was received on 30th April so the rights are protected from that date. Processing has yet to start but that wait time is not a concern as the rights are protected as stated 
There has been no other application to update the register such as a remortgage

Regarding the HR1 form submitted a few months ago, I am inquiring about its processing status.

Given the ongoing divorce proceedings and potential security concerns, including unauthorized access to personal communications, I am seeking confirmation that no documents have been intentionally deleted or are missing.

Hi Kamran - The application is currently awaiting to be processed. 

I cannot tell you when exactly it will be picked up but our current processing times are on our website.  If there is some urgency then you can request for it to be expedited.

I sent an application YWE5307 and received email notification that it was in the system 15th April (reference R933TVT) The expected completion date is 2 July 2026. Can I check that my home rights are protected from 15th April please? 

Is it possible to speak to someone about this matter? I am concerned that as the house is currently up for sale, I may be forced out.

Hi Suzi - The application under reference R933TVT has the priority from 15 April 2025.  Anything else that may be submitted against the title will sit behind it and would not be considered until the Home Rights notice one has been dealt with. 

With regards protecting your right to occupy the property, that is not something we would be able to help with.  You need to discuss that with your legal advisor.

Does this mean that I have home rights from the day the application has been received? 

If I were to apply to expedite this application, what supporting documents would need to be submitted? I am in the middle of a divorce, and my husband is shutting me out of conversations about the sale of the property. I am concerned he is going to accept an offer without my knowledge.

Hi Suzi - If the Home Rights notice is entered on the title then it will shown to be entered on the date we received the application.   Please don't be concerned about my use of "if".  That is simply because we have not yet looked at the application as yet. 

I cannot tell you what evidence you should present to request expedite, but if you have any court process ongoing then any evidence of that should be sufficient.
