Urgent update required

Hi, I currently live in a shared ownership property which has an expedited application for a change of name on compliance in progress (ref J664XFV). The original dealing was 02 Feb 2026 with a Title Number SK307666. Following recent phone conversations, I know this is with LR’s in-house solicitors but I am looking for more of an update. Can you confirm if there are any requisitions outstanding or likely (confirmed by the legal team)? What is our expected resolution date? Finally, how much progress (in a percentage) has been made so far? This is now at a CRITICAL stage for us as our buyers solicitor will not exchange until this is done and the chain is about to fall apart. Outside of the chain falling apart, my 2 and a half year old daughter doesn’t have a cot now (packed away) and I have had a huge expense regarding contractual changes for utilities and insurances following delays. Hi Loren - impossible to be definitive re timescales but the lawyer has now written to the conveyancer to explain why their application cannot proceed as submitted and advised them as to what next steps they might wish to consider. I would suggest speaking to the conveyancer to confirm

Hi Adam, thanks for the update. I assume this has gone to Trowers LLP but do you know there was responded to? Ultimately I need to chase Trowers now for urgency (hence why I’m asking). Cheers

Also, just had another thought - does this mean the application is going to be cancelled and we need to restart the whole process again?

Loren - I don't have a name to share and to be honest if we did I wouldn't be able to add it to a public forum. The firm's reference is 035594.00581. The application hasn't been cancelled but it can't proceed as submitted J664XFV
