Transfer of Title proof

Hello 

I am adding my wife  to  a leased property . The landlord has agreed to this and I have a letter to confirm   that but they want a letter of transfer from Land Registry before  31 April 2025  ( after that the consent expires) . I am submitting TR 1 AP1 IDI an all documents to Land Registry with the right fee . I understand that the time scales to do this is running at 2 years plus . In the  meanwhile is it possible that Land Registry  to offer me a letter to confirm that I have applied for the transfer which I think will satisfy the freeholder

Hello Abishek - if you are transferring from your sole to joint names the wait time is not 2 years. Much more likely to be around 4-5 months on average.
Once submitted you will receive an acknowledgement from us to explain and confirm receipt.
