HMLR ref: AACD76E

Our ref SC -486387

Title number - SGL841582

Property address Plot 210, Langley park, 6 Sistine house, 2 Caesar road BR3 3UP

Dear Land Registry,

We had expedited our case with HMLR in July 2025 for registration of the title deed on our new build purchase as we are selling our property. Following another recent request from HMLR we have submitted an amended lease document  on 2nd Jan.

Can we please urgently request a caseworker to review and confirm this has been accepted and proceed to register the title deeds. We stress the urgency as it’s been 6 months since we started our sale process and we are at the risk of losing the chain as our mortgage approvals are expiring soon and we need to proceed on the chain immediately to complete the sale by end of Jan. therefore we require an urgent and expedited response by end of this week. We are unable to issue any contracts to our buyer without this title deed and the sale process and rest of the chain has halted due to this delay.

Please could we request an urgent review of the case asap.

Sheela - the application was partially processed back in Nov 2024 and we are waiting for the conveyancer to provide additional information to enable the registration to be completed. They have repeatedly asked for more time and the last extension was given in mid December
I can see that they have recently replied with an amended lease and I'll check with the casework team for an update as to whether 'more' is still needed or if matters are now resolved.
Please note the case was never expedited as processing had started prior to that July request. As we needed 'more' from the conveyancer any need for speed was at their end rather than ours. Hopefully they can confirm that for you and share the specific details re the issues raised at the time and their need for 'more' time

Morning again Sheela - unfortunately the submitted information is still not in order and the casework team have gone back to the conveyancer to explain.
The issue appears to be a simple one, an amendment to the submitted paperwork, and hopefully they can resolve and respond quickly. If they do, and correctly the registration can be completed
