Hi Paul - acknowledgements are issued by post using the details on the form AP:1 panel 7.
Estimated date for processing to start shows as 2nd March 2026. When processing actually starts the casework team will contact the applicant as appropriate
NGL4468

Hi. Just wanted to check. You mentioned that acknowledgements are posted within a few days of receipt. It has now been over 2 weeks and we still have no acknowledgement?

Hi Paul - I can only assume that the confirmation of receipt has gone astray in the post. The acknowledgement has no value now you have confirmed receipt via the forum.
If you still require something more formal then please use our contact form to request that from the support team using the contact form - Public guidance: dealing with land and property - GOV.UK
NGL4468

Hi. In a previous message you said our application was due to start processing on 2nd March. We haven't heard anything yet. Would you be able to check the latest status? Thanks

Hi Paul - The date quoted by my colleague was an estimated date. Our estimates are based on recent completion data for applications of the same type as yours, specifically looking at the range of times taken to complete 70% to 90% of similar applications. The application is still waiting to be processed. If the delay in registration is causing any difficulties or delaying a follow-up transaction then I would suggest you consider a request for expedite - https://www.gov.uk/guidance/request-an-expedite
