Application to split title

Hi,

I received a letter today saying that my application has been completed. This was an application to split an existing piece of land into two, but keep them both in mine and my husband's name. I have only received confirmation of one plot (Bwlchyrelmen) with an updated plan. I would have thought that I would have also received confirmation about the other plot (Brynhaul) in the same letter? Will this be coming separately? Just want to check that nothing has gone wrong with that side of the application!!

Hi Meg - such splits generally generate a new title number and it's those details you are sent by way of confirmation. If you want to query non-receipt of the original title and how that's been amended then use our contact form to query and refer to the original title CYM889903 as well

I just wanted to check that the application resulted in two plots - I have only been sent confirmation of one of them. I didn't want the other plot just floating around in nobody's name?

Hi Meg - nothing 'floats' but the original title has been split as applied for. The new title you have received shows the split away part for you. Both titles remain registered in your joint names.
