Hi Aj - Thank you.

The application is caught up in the delays that we have and is awaiting to be looked. I am not in a position to say when we may start processing it, but if there is any urgency then you or the solicitors who submitted the application can make a request for expedite.

I hope this is of some help.

Hi Aj - The application is being processed but has had to be referred for consideration to a senior officer. I would not be able to tell you how long it may be take for the senior officer to consider and what the outcome may be.

Whilst we complete over 95% of the expedited applications within 10 working days, it would be helpful to clarify that expedite means the application is treated as a priority after the request has been approved. How long it then takes is entirely up to whether the application can be completed there and then or not. If the evidence provided is sufficient, and no additional actions are required, then we will aim to complete the application straight away. But if the evidence is not sufficient or there are some issues that need consideration, then the timescale will be stretched.

Hi Aj - it's still waiting for a senior officer to consider. I'll see if the casework team can escalate it in some way
EGL102350
