When an application becomes urgent your conveyancer/you can contact us to request that we expedite it.
The most common examples of an urgency are a linked/dependent transaction such as an onward sale or an expiring mortgage offer.
You should use our contact form to submit your request along with documentary evidence to confirm the urgency as appropriate for example a copy of your memorandum of sale or mortgage offer
If you are using a conveyancer it is often best if they make the request as they will have access to such documentary evidence
Expedition, if approved, reduces the remaining wait time and most expedited applications are considered within 2 weeks of the expedition approval.
Expedition does not wave the registration requirements including any wider checks we may need to make or where we have to request more information from the applicant. Just because an application has been expedited does not mean it will be completed within 2 weeks. If you are using a conveyancer then in most cases they can track progress of the application online through their secure portal.
