Update Request

Adam, I have today received confirmation that the OS inspection will happen on Tuesday. Based on your experience, do you have any indication of timescales your end once the report is received, considering this is an urgent expedited application? That way I can hopefully manage expectations with the other side and know when to check back in with you hopefully without being a nuisance.

Jay - that's good to read that next step OS is planned. Timescales are very difficult to be definitive about but if it were me explaining it to the other side I would say something along the following lines LR have requested a site visit/survey by OS and once done they report back to LR. The application plus OS report then have to be considered to ensure things on paper align with the reality on the ground. That referral process can often be 2-3 weeks. If everything is ok there's a possibility that wider checks might be triggered whereby adjoining registered owners are contacted to see if they consent/object to the registration. That's another 3 weeks. And if all is ok from there things can usually be completed quite quickly. Each stage relies on the one before so OS report, referral, next steps etc. If a stage stops for any reason the timescale gets stretched.
