Expedite title change

Hi I’m new to this so not sure if I’ve posted in the right part, we had our offer accepted on a property 3 months ago this week, we have been told we are still waiting on a title change and that it’s been expedited (But now blundells arnt sure if it actually has been done) no one is been helpful our solicitor can’t do anything as she’s obviously not had the contract sent yet as we are waiting on this. If someone could please just give us some information on this and if they have actually tried to expedite and if so how far along, any help but would much appreciated as we are first time buyers and not sure if we are wasting our time Thankyou - title number

Hi Georgina - we have an application against that title and it was submitted on 2nd April. It was partially processed in July but we needed more information from the conveyancer. They have replied but the response needs to be considered by one fo our lawyers
I'll flag with the casework team to see if they are able to hasten matters

Thankyou for the reply, have the sellers tried to expedite this case? And if so has it been accepted to be expedited or what part of this process is this at, really it’s just wanting some sort of time frame for how long these things can take because we don’t want to be waiting for up to a year as this is what I’m reading online? It’s affecting other areas or our lives at this point, Thankyou 

Georgina - processing started in July so we would not have expedited it if asked. Expedition in this case would only get it to the processing start line quicker and as that had already happened expedition wouldn't have been an option
The timescales you are viewing online are now irrelevant as processing has started.
And as stated I have flagged it with colleagues so hopefully they will be able to progress it asap but I can't be definitive re timescales

Hi Thankyou for that! I have got back to blundells to let them so hopefully can push on their solicitor now, sorry to be a pain does that mean the title is now in the sellers name and not the deceased anymore? Thankyou
