Update on expedited restriction error change

Hi there,

I'm hoping you might be able to provide me with an update on the progress of an expedited change to a restriction for DT380370, please? It's only to correct a date error on the title document so hoping it's in progress with no problems.

How long will it take the official copy of the register to be updated with this change?

This is the last hold-up for an already delayed exchange so timing is everything right now! It would be really useful to know if we're looking at an overnight amendment or something worse...
 

S D - once completed the registered information is updated immediately. 

Hi Adam - that's odd. My solicitor advised that when they tried to get the updated official register yesterday, the change had not been applied and that there was a pending application for registration against the register for this title number. They said it's showing the application/amendment is still ongoing. Is there something else holding it up?

Does anything else need to happen/be done from the seller's solicitor's side?

S D - the request to amend was responded to yesterday with an explanation. There's been no amendment to the register for DT380370 and apologies as I should have been clearer as to what I meant by 'completed' 

No worries - but can you let me know what is currently still pending against this title DT380370? Something was there yesterday holding up getting the updated register.

How often if the official copy updated - our solicitor is saying it might not be updated yet on the portal. But how long could that take?

We are desperate to clear this hurdle.

Hi S D - an official copy is generally always available but where there are pending applications the copy is backdated to the day before the oldest one was submitted.
Your conveyancer will have checked the available official copy and confirmed which applications are pending, of which there are two.
They will also, or should have, carried out a search to confirm what those pending applications are for and what, if any impact, they have on your purchase. If they do have an impact then it is often the case that you cannot complete before they are processed and the register updated.
