Hi I am the buyer of the property with title plan: GM543176 which my mortgage company has required a minor amendment being formalised. the property actually 'lost' about 2 sqyds of land in the garden 20+ years ago (I don't care as it doesn't materially affect my purchase, offer price etc). The vendor submitted the application on Tuesday 5th May (poss Wed 6th) and I wanted to check if its been received and its possible status Thanks

Hi Adam - We do have an application against the title. This has been expedited and is currently being considered by the caseworker.

The application decision has been received - and it seems the rejection is based on a requirement that both vendor and their neighbours need to officially transfer the land (about 1-2sqm) for the vendor title plans to be exact. We are awaiting news from the Building Society as to whether this explicit accuracy is ultimately required. Can an AP1/TP1 also be expedited when there is a pending sale against the property in question?

Adam - it can and should be expedited, yes. It is submitted first and a request to expedite is then made separately
