DU399085 application ref. HC616ED. This application was made by my solicitor 01/10/24. Telephoned LR this morning as we have had no contact for 18mths. Query in Dec. 2024 was resolved as far as i know, however LR Officer dealing with the application had a further query and wrote to my solicitor on 25/07/25. There has been a reminder sent on 23/06/26 giving an extension to 08/08/26. My solicitor now claim that they never received the letter dated 25/07/25. Is there any way that I can find out what further information is required as I may be able to provide the information directly to LR as solicitor is busy sitting on their hands.

CJ W - you need to ask your solicitor to confirm the specific details for you. You can apply by post for an official copy of the correspondence but far quicker to ask your solicitor for a copy

The problem is my solicitor claims that they never received the letter so don't have a copy and don't know what LR are asking for. Will they have to apply for an official copy or is it possible to send them a copy by email if they telephone LR. Thank you.

CJ W - their last request for a re-issue of the request was at the end of June. They were sent a copy on 23rd June after asking for same. Have they said that they have still not received anything since 23rd June?

Solicitors have been sent a copy today. Could you please let me know the date the application was lodged. Solicitor sent application on 27th September 2024 in order to comply with Direction 3 which was withdrawn on 1 Oct 24.

When 1st registrations are received by LR are they put onto the portal and allocated a title number and application reference number on the same day as received in post opening and this is the date application lodged? I suppose my question is...is it possible that the application could have been received on 30 Sept 24 and not lodged until the day after? I'm hoping there is some flexibility as I didn't want to send documents in the post. Was the letter/requisition dated 25/7/25 and subsequent reminders with extensions sent via the portal, email or postal. Was there an earlier extension date given for 15/6/26. Thank you

CJ W - once an application is received it is scanned and captured thus creating a provisional title number and case (ABR) reference. That happened on 1st Oct so there's a possibility it arrived on 30th Sept. Communication has been by email until 19th Sept 2025. A letter was posted in December. But then email extensions from 17th Feb 2026 until the last letter was posted dated 23rd June with an extension until 8th August

Hello again, I wondered whether it might be possible to provide an update regarding the application for first registration. My solicitor replied to the requisition dated 25th July 2025 two weeks ago. [Although my solicitor has not requested the original deeds and paperwork that I hold] The application was submitted 27 Sept 24 specifically to be received before 1 October 24 so Im assuming my solicitor has requested actual date of receipt by HMLR. I'm just worried application will be cancelled as a number of extension dates have already been missed. Thank you.

Hello again - the casework team wrote to the conveyancer on 17th July asking for the original deeds. I can't see a reply as yet. The casework team confirmed the captured date as 1st October 2024 and granted an extension until mid September HC616ED
