Please can  I have a update on my application which was submitted in July 2023 your ref CL201929

Ian - submitted in October last year and waiting to be processed. We have a backlog of this type of work so it's going to be several more months yet before it's processed.
If there's an urgency such as an onward sale/remortgage then you/the conveyancer should request expedition

Ian - a long time as the average wait is around 14+ months currently. But that's very much an average so it could be much longer or sooner.
The key fact is that the transfer/ownership is protected from October. The lengthy wait time is rarely an issue unless there's a linked/dependent transaction as mentioned. 
Far from ideal but that wait time isn't going to impact on you. If it does then the expedite process is there to help

can i ask what is the reference you have provided why is it different to the one we have on our TP1 form

Ian - a TP1 means the land is removed from the parent/old/seller's title and a new one created. As such the new and provisional title plus it's reference (ABR) is needed should you decide there is a case for expedition.
