Hello,

Our solicitors applied to remove an anti-fraud restriction on our title (EGL471180). This restriction was initially placed without our consent so we were not aware of it. Now we have a remortgage completion scheduled for 01/05 which is at risk because the title has a pending application and it needs to be completed before we can proceed to completion. I understand the application has been expedited but will it be likely that this application is done before our completion date of 01/05?

Thanks so much for your support

Hello Gonzalo - The application is being processed but we require some more information from your solicitors.  We have written to them yesterday and are now waiting for their response.

It is not possible to predict when the application will be completed.  Whilst we complete 96% of the expedited applications within 10 working days, it would be helpful to clarify that expedite means that the application is treated as a priority after that request has been approved. How long it then takes is entirely up to whether the application can be completed there and then or not. If the evidence provided is sufficient, and no additional actions are required, then it will be completed asap. But if the evidence is not sufficient then the timescale will be stretched as the person / firm who submitted the application will need to resolve any issues and we may have to complete wider checks.

Dear Nimish,

I was told the query was responded to, can you please confirm if this application is now processed?

Thank you!

Dear Gonzalo - we received a reply and that's been referred to a senior technician to consider. Hopefully we will know if all ok or more still needed shortly

Gonzalo - the next, and hopefully final step, is that we need to complete wider checks with both you and the other joint owner. That involves us serving notices on you both at the address on the register.
Please wait for those notices to arrive and then complete as appropriate. The notices will explain what is required so please read them carefully and do as instructed.
