how long for a TR1 to be regsitered

A TR1 was completed in June with the transfer of flat 1 into the new name on the freehold (4 flats in total).

I'm now waiting to amend the title to include my son's name and my name taken off the freehold. This morning when the solicitor received a copy of the TR1 it's still showing the old freeholder.

Barbara - their application is still pending so as yet unprocessed. If there's an urgency involved then the conveyancer should request expedition to reduce the remaining wait time

They have actually received the application then?

Can you confirm they have received the application otherwise I will have to try and contact the buyers solicitor

I have just received a property alert for the said property with a title TGL 358747

And a Land Registy reference K669 CQT

Barbara - that is an application to update the registered owner's contact address 

What do I need to download from land registry  to check if the TR1 has finally been registered.

Barbara - the register but I think I can see what the issue is here now after you have quoted two different title numbers and a mire recent case reference 
We have 4 applications against TGL358747 and none against LN237263
However looking at the specific details the first application should in fact be against LN237263. The conveyancer has added paperwork to that application to flag the mistake but that won't have been seen until now as you have been querying the applications currently pending.
I'll flag with the casework team to ensure that the application, which includes the Transfer, is reviewed and amended as appropriate. I'll also ask them to process it asap and once completed the register will be updated and available online

Hi Barbara - no reply dated 18th Nov but I can see they have asked for an update on the 25th Nov. So I assume their reply was not actually sent/received

LN237263 I  now understand that a power of attorney for one of the 4 freeholders was also never registered at the time. This is being chased up by the buyer of Flat 1's solicitor. So, it's now a new freeholder to be registered plus a power of attorney to be added. Have you had updates on this?
