Hi, I hope you will be able to help me.
I received my keys to the new build property in June 2022, however, my name (and my partner's name) has not been registered yet and I am now selling my property. 
My solicitors advised me that there has been an expedited application made to get our names on the register under Title No CB446113. Plot 518. I read that expedited application should take around 10 working days, but I have been waiting for over a month now. 
This is causing me a lot of distress and, of course, a delay with the sale of my property. I am also buying a property, which fully depends on this sale, hence why my hopes that this can be resolved very soon.  
Furthermore, my solicitors (PLS) are claiming that the delay is caused by the vendor solicitors, but I am not sure if what they are telling me is correct. Are you able to let me know the chronology order from back in 2022 since the application was made, what was queried, and to whom, whether it was cancelled and resubmitted etc. I would like to know who is responsible for all of this, as no one is taking ownership. And it's been nearly two years... :(
Could you also kindly provide me with the update of where are we with the process currently please? Are you able to give me an estimated date for the application to be completed please?

Hi Magdelena - really sorry to read of the issues you are facing here re the delay in registering your purchase. The application has been processed but we are waiting for more information from the conveyancer.
The application was submitted on 5th Oct and expedited. We contacted the conveyancer on 22nd March with our request for more and whilst they replied on 22nd April their response was insufficient. We contacted them again on 23rd April and await their response. Hopefully they can confirm and advise as to when they will respond in full

Thank you for your response Adam. I really appreciate it. 

1. Should I understand that the application was first made on 5th October 2023?! 

2. I received an email from the PLS post completions team dated 03.05 24 that they have now responded to your request. I hope their response is sufficient and satisfactory. Are you able to advise whether you have everything you need now to complete the application please? Or is something still outstanding?

Magdalena - it was originally lodged in Feb 2023 but cancelled in Aug 2023 as it was also not in order and the conveyancer did not/was unable to supply all the required information at that time.
They have now responded on 3rd May so that will be reviewed by the casework team. If it is now complete then the application can hopefully be completed asap

Hi Magdalena - unfortunately their reply was insufficient and we responded on 7th May to explain what was still needed. 
Hopefully they can resolve and respond quickly again

When I checked the title register it had my name on it so I believe that the application has been completed now:)
