Status of application

Title number: BK363987

We bought our freehold property and completion took place on 17 Nov 2023. I've checked the Search for land and property information today and it is still showing the property is owned by the previous owners.

Our solicitor told us they had lodged an application to register the property to our names in December 2023. If what they are saying is true, the application has been with HM Land Registry for over 2 months now.

Please inform us how our application is progressing?

Hi Lucy - submitted at end of December and still waiting to be processed. That's not likely to be for several weeks yet as we have a backlog of this type of work.
Your purchase/ownership is protected so very much a case of waiting until the conveyancer confirms once completed
