Good morning - is there any update on this? Thank you in advance ☺️

Good Morning Emma - the application is back with one of our lawyers to consider again. I can't go into any details as to why and what's involved as that needs to work through the system. The referral inevitably means more needs to now be done but timescales are not definitive as a result. LT566847

Good Morning Emma - nothing concrete to update you on at this stage. The referral requires paper records to be retrieved and considered before further correspondence takes place

Thank you for the update Adam. Are we close to finalising? We have been granted a final extension on our mortgage (22nd July), due to this on-going issue, as it is out of our control. I genuinely thought because the farmer rejected his right to the land that we would have the updated title deeds by now. What else is there to consider? I was told that if he ignored the claim the updated title deeds would be done within 48hrs? Just really confused by the whole process

Emma - I hope so. Retrieval from central storage can be quite quick but how quick from there is impossible to state as we need to know what the files reveal. You'll need to rely on the conveyancers/seller here for specific details with regards what they/you have been told. I've done my best to explain the process being followed from a registration perspective. I know that will appear as being unhelpful but this isn't your application and you must rely on your legal reps and the sellers to address any confusion.
