Currently going through a re-mortgage application and the mortgage company’s conveyance surveyor has sent us a email about a pending application against our title as follows:
“We have carried out our initial title checks and note there is a pending application lodged against the title by DWR Cymru Welsh Water
We would appreciate if you could confirm what this relates to.
Please note we are unable to complete the remortgage until the pending application has been completed/removed”
The only thing I can imagine this could be is that the plot next door to us connected their drain connection to out man hole which has the pre existing connection ready for when the plot was eventually built on. This was completed by the owner well over a year ago?
If possible, could you offer any insight to this please and how long it will take to complete?
