House Purchase is not Registered

Hello Team,

I completed on my property on the 10th November 2021 and was under the impression that my Solicitor completed an application to change the register owner. Upon enquiring with them, I was told that it's in progress and a significant delay is normal. 

The Solicitors in question have now  have gone out of business and I am not sure on how to proceed with ensuring this registration is completed.

The reference number I was provided is MD1118W

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello Eni - we do have very long delays but that reference number isn't a valid one. Do you have a postal address/plot number instead please and I can check?
Re the firm going out of business - I would have expected them to have informed you in some way as to what options existed re next steps. Have you had no such comms from them?
