On page 2 of form ID1 the text reads: "If you are having your identity verified in person, you will need to take evidence of your identity with you including two identical colour passport-size photographs taken in the last three months which must be on photographic paper and in which your face is clearly visible."

I am not using a conveyancer, but a friend who is a solicitor to verify my identity. She has already signed the forms and signed and dated the photograph. Then I saw the instruction about the two photographs. Do I need to submit two photographs, and if so, does the second photograph also need to be signed and dated?

Thanks.

S A - we only need the one photograph
Please see the Note 1 to panel B2a for guidance as the verifier is required to keep the second photograph for their own record
