Good Morning,

We have an expedited application In at present
number NN118323

The response from our neighbour was uploaded on 14/4/2025.

is it possible to have an update on this please? To check it has been received? And if you can give us any sort of timeframe?

it is putting our house sale in jeopardy as there is a chain which could breakdown if we can’t complete soon.

many thanks

Good Morning Alex - details as described and response received. The application is linked to a first registration based on a claim as to ownership so next steps and timescales will be stretched
The following thread offers an idea re process and timescales but please do rely on your conveyancer for guidance as appropriate

Thank you I have read that but there’s a lot of information.
My conveyancer cannot give any update on time scales only we just need to wait.
what I’m trying to find out is if this is a days weeks or months time scale?
I am going to lose my buyer if it’s any more than weeks and given the application was submitted last summer I just need a rough time scale I understand no one can commit but is this still likely to be months?

Alex - you are certainly looking at a number of weeks if the application is in order and a site visit/survey and wider checks are then required.
Much will depend on the consideration of the case by a senior officer who will decide if it is in order and/or whether a site visit/survey is required. That consideration will happen asap
I would suggest posting again next week and we can check for an update as appropriate

Thank you - a site visit/survey has already taken place

There was then a request to the neighbouring property to ensure no objections which has been returned

I would hope the next steps would be completing the registration unless there are wider checks to take

Alex - hopefully then all will be ok and the registration can be completed as you suggest
