Am I able to submit an expedite request myself? Or do I need to wait for the solicitors to do it? (The solicitors submitted the application) 

Hello - If you are party to the transaction or the legal owner named on the title then you can submit request to expedite.  It is not clear here who you are. 

I am one of the owners listed on the title.

We have two people in the chain whose mortgage offers expire before Christmas. There is also someone in the chain who has a medical issue meaning that they need to move on 15th of December at the latest.

 

Any information you can give me would be very appreciated!

Hello, would it be possible to get an update on whether the application has started processing?

 

The solicitor who lodged the application does not represent us, so I am unable to get updates from them.

 

For some context on the situation, our co-freeholder sold in July. When the registration was done, their solicitor made a mistake and missed the second freehold title. It has taken us 4 months to rectify this and get the application submitted. In the meantime our chain has been waiting and is very fragile with mortgage offers expiring and medical issues putting pressure on. I just want to make sure that if any requisitions are raised I am aware asap so I can chase the solicitors accordingly.

Hello Boyana - the application was partially processed yesterday but we needed more from the conveyancer. They replied earlier today with amended paperwork but we still require information that was missing from their application form.

Hello again Adam, the solicitor who lodged the application needed something from our solicitors for the requisition, which they have provided to them early yesterday. Just wanted to check if the reply has been received and if there is any update on your end?
